Martin Elkaine Roberts 
Martin Elkaine was born in January 1875 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Martin Elkaine's father was Nebuchanezer Roberts and his mother was Mary A. Floyd. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Frances M., James A., John Rufus, Joseph Walker, Charles S., Susan M., Bertha Parsada and Lillie Belle. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 46 on July 20th, 1921 in Reidsville, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on July 21st, 1921 in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, Rockingham Co, NC.1 General Notes
