Joseph Walker Roberts 
Joseph Walker was born on September 10th, 1868 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Joseph Walker's father was Nebuchanezer Roberts and his mother was Mary A. Floyd. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Frances M., James A., John Rufus, Charles S., Martin Elkaine, Susan M., Bertha Parsada and Lillie Belle. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 90 on January 13th, 1959 in Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on January 14th, 1959 in Mount Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.1 General Notes
