Charles S. Roberts 
Charles S. was born in May 1874 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Charles S.'s father was Nebuchanezer Roberts and his mother was Mary A. Floyd. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Frances M., James A., John Rufus, Joseph Walker, Martin Elkaine, Susan M., Bertha Parsada and Lillie Belle. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 43 on December 3rd, 1917 in Spray, Rockingham Co, NC.1 General Notes
