Martha Arrena was born on February 14th, 1845 in Rockingham Co, NC. Martha Arrena's father was George W. Roberts and her mother was Janette Strong. Her paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert S., James M., George A., William M., Elizabeth, Susan M., Lucy J. F. and Mary Virginia. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.General Notes
