Elizabeth Roberts 
Elizabeth was born on September 10th, 1836 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Elizabeth's father was George W. Roberts and her mother was Janette Strong. Her paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert S., James M., George A., William M., Susan M., Martha Arrena, Lucy J. F. and Mary Virginia. She was the oldest of the nine children.1 General Notes
