Jessie Lela was born on April 3rd, 1881 in Savoy, Fannin Co, Texas, USA. Jessie Lela's father was William Jackson Lowe and her mother was Martha E Benton. Her paternal grandparents were William Jacob Lowe and Sarah L Akin. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John Henry, Samuel Robert, James Lee, Sarah Narcissa, Ida Cornelia, Willie D, Tigilia Grace, Catherine A and Frankie Benton. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 82 on July 1st, 1963 in Sweetwater, Nolan Co, Texas, USA.-
