Thomas William Hoke 
Thomas William was born on August 15th, 1866 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC. Thomas William's father was Peter Philo Hoke and his mother was Faithy Ann Goforth. His maternal grandparents were William Clayton Goforth and Jane Christina Houser. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert C., Peter W., Benjamin Logan, Sarah Jane, Clara J., Cora Harriett and Caroline B. 'Callie'. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at 11 months old on August 10th, 1867 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC. He was buried in Sunset Cemetery, Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
