Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke 
Caroline B. 'Callie' was born on December 29th, 1861 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1880. Caroline B. 'Callie''s father was Peter Philo Hoke and her mother was Faithy Ann Goforth. Her maternal grandparents were William Clayton Goforth and Jane Christina Houser. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas William, Robert C., Peter W., Benjamin Logan, Sarah Jane, Clara J. and Cora Harriett. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on January 8th, 1937 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. She was buried on January 10th, 1937 in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
