Hester Grogan 
Hester was born on May 26th, 1897 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Hester's father was Emilous Jackson Grogan and her mother was Elizabeth Virginia Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Constant T. Grogan and Frances Elizabeth Price. She had six brothers and eight sisters, named Honor Johnson, Constine Emilous, Shular Gray, James Robert, Buford Bennett, Cecil Herman, Posie Jackson, Josie Beulah, Dorthea, Nora Elizabeth, Rosie Lee, Mollie Mae, Kathleen and Loula Hazel. She died at the age of 38 on September 13th, 1935 in Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried in Ayersville Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
