Ruby Mae was born on September 15th, 1893 in Coal Creek, Montgomery, Indiana, United States. Ruby Mae's father was Garrett Van Foster and her mother was Mary Mate Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Martin Foster and Cynthia Ann Jolly. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Alfa S, Thomas Irwin, Ralph Miller, Frank Leland, Minerva Opal and Maud Reland. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 80 on March 21st, 1974 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana, United States.-
