Minerva Opal was born on June 14th, 1889 in Coal Creek, Montgomery, Indiana, United States. Minerva Opal's father was Garrett Van Foster and her mother was Mary Mate Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Martin Foster and Cynthia Ann Jolly. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Alfa S, Thomas Irwin, Ralph Miller, Frank Leland, Ruby Mae and Maud Reland. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 94 on March 27th, 1984 in Buck Creek, Tippecanoe, Indiana, United States.-
