William C Akin 
William C was born in 1854. William C's father was Collin McKinney Akin and his mother was Lucinda Frances Pinkerton. His paternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James Franklin, Collin McKinney, Robert Jackson, Richard, Mattie, Rebecca Elizabeth, Emma and Ellie. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named David, William, John Watson, Martha Jane, Mary Jane and Nancy Ann.-
