Rebecca Elizabeth was born in 1859 in Redwater, Bowie Co, Texas, USA. Rebecca Elizabeth's father was Collin McKinney Akin and her mother was Lucinda Frances Pinkerton. Her paternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James Franklin, Collin McKinney, William C, Robert Jackson, Richard, Mattie, Emma and Ellie. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named David, William, John Watson, Martha Jane, Mary Jane and Nancy Ann. She died at the age of 44 on December 26th, 1903 in Bowie Co, Texas, USA.-
