Susannah Akin 
Susannah was born in 1802.1 Susannah's father was James Akin and her mother was Mary Murphy. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Akin and Margaret (Peggy) Bass; her maternal grandparents were Miles Murphy and Amey Norman. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, John, James, Bill, Elder, Nancy, Mary, Deborah, Martha and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the twelve children.-
