Joseph York

Joseph was born on November 5th, 1820.¹   Joseph's father was Jeremiah York and his mother was Margaret Donaldson.  His paternal grandparents were Semore York and Miriam Beck. He had four brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Semore, John, Martin Van Buren, Cicero, Adaline, Margaret, Caroline and Elisha Newton.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 93 on July 29th, 1914.¹
