Jeremiah York

Jeremiah was born on December 16th, 1802 in Randolph Co., NC.¹   Jeremiah's father was Semore York and his mother was Miriam Beck.  His maternal grandfather was Jeffry Beck. He had two brothers named Jeffry and John.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 86 on December 20th, 1888.  He was buried in Persimmon Dist., Rabun Co., GA.^1 1
