Martin DeShazo Welty

Martin DeShazo was born on May 26th, 1874.¹   Martin DeShazo's father was John C Welty and his mother was Lydia H Sharp. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander Houston, Ason, George Washington, William Albert, Sarah Caroline (Sallie), Ida May Minerva and Mary Hester Belzora.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Lafayette, Elbert, John, Joseph S, Casper, Elizabeth, Margaret and Suzannah.¹
