George Washington Welty

George Washington was born on March 14th, 1880.¹   George Washington's father was John C Welty and his mother was Lydia H Sharp. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander Houston, Ason, Martin DeShazo, William Albert, Sarah Caroline (Sallie), Ida May Minerva and Mary Hester Belzora.  He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Lafayette, Elbert, John, Joseph S, Casper, Elizabeth, Margaret and Suzannah.¹
