Alexander Houston Welty

Alexander Houston was born on June 1st, 1866.¹   Alexander Houston's father was John C Welty and his mother was Lydia H Sharp. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Ason, Martin DeShazo, George Washington, William Albert, Sarah Caroline (Sallie), Ida May Minerva and Mary Hester Belzora.  He was the oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Lafayette, Elbert, John, Joseph S, Casper, Elizabeth, Margaret and Suzannah.¹
