Thomas Oscar was born about 1877.1 Thomas Oscar's father was Thomas Ray Townsend and his mother was Nancy L. Smith. His paternal grandparents were Morris Townsend and Sarah Cheairs. He had four brothers and a sister, named George Morris, William J., Earl R., Ernest Ray and Eva I.. He was the second oldest of the six children.1 -
