Earl R. Townsend 
Earl R. was born about 1891.1 Earl R.'s father was Thomas Ray Townsend and his mother was Nancy L. Smith. His paternal grandparents were Morris Townsend and Sarah Cheairs. He had four brothers and a sister, named George Morris, Thomas Oscar, William J., Ernest Ray and Eva I.. He was the third youngest of the six children.1 -
