William Cravens Snapp

William Cravens was born on July 29th, 1799.¹ William Cravens' father was Joseph Snapp and his mother was Margaret Cravens. His paternal grandparents were John Snapp and Anna Maria Wendell; his maternal grandparents were John Cravens and Margaret Hiett. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John Cravens, Robert, Joseph, James Cravens, Cyrus, Rhoda, Mary, Mariah, Diana Allen and Cynthia Jane. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.¹
