Joseph Snapp

Joseph was born on May 6th, 1805 in Augusta Co, Va.¹ Joseph's father was Joseph Snapp and his mother was Margaret Cravens. His paternal grandparents were John Snapp and Anna Maria Wendell; his maternal grandparents were John Cravens and Margaret Hiett. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John Cravens, Robert, William Cravens, James Cravens, Cyrus, Rhoda, Mary, Mariah, Diana Allen and Cynthia Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 77 on May 21st, 1882 in Slanesville, WVa.¹
