Robert Snapp

Robert was born on June 24th, 1796.¹ Robert's father was Joseph Snapp and his mother was Margaret Cravens. His paternal grandparents were John Snapp and Anna Maria Wendell; his maternal grandparents were John Cravens and Margaret Hiett. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John Cravens, William Cravens, Joseph, James Cravens, Cyrus, Rhoda, Mary, Mariah, Diana Allen and Cynthia Jane. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 62 on July 1st, 1858 in Fort Defiance, Va.¹
