William P. Sherman

William P. was born on September 9th, 1840 in Butler, Wayne County, New York. William P.'s father was Levi Orrin Sherman and his mother was Ann Eliza Palmer. His paternal grandparents were John Serman and Cynthia Cornell; his maternal grandparents were William Henry Palmer and Mary Hughson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James Munwarren, Daniel Levi, Benjamin, Milan, Mary Elizabeth, Cynthia and Nancy. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 23 on November 27th, 1863 in Butler, Wayne County, New York. He was buried in Butler Center Cemetery, Butler, Wayne County, New York.
