Benjamin Sherman 
Benjamin was born on June 30th, 1851 in Butler, Wayne County, New York. Benjamin's father was Levi Orrin Sherman and his mother was Ann Eliza Palmer. His paternal grandparents were John Serman and Cynthia Cornell; his maternal grandparents were William Henry Palmer and Mary Hughson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William P., James Munwarren, Daniel Levi, Milan, Mary Elizabeth, Cynthia and Nancy. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died in Hastings, Nebraska. He was buried in Blue Valley Cemetary, Ayr, Nebraska.-
