Patience Sherman 
Patience was born on August 3rd, 1674 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 Patience's father was William Sherman and her mother was Desire Doty. Her paternal grandparents were William Sherman and Prudence Hill; her maternal grandparents were Edward Doty and Faith Clarke. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Ebenezer, Experience, Elizabeth and Hannah. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Israel, Ichabod, Thomas and Desire. She died before July 30th, 1723.2 General Notes

On September 27, 1737, Josiah Wormall sold to Jethro Sprague 2 1/2 acres of salt marsh (which was sold by Jethro in the 1742 deed below).
On April 24, 1742, Jethro Sprague of Duxbury conveyed to Josiah Wormell and Samuel Wormell, both of Duxbury, part of the homestead whereon Josiah Wormall, Sr., late of Duxbury, deceased, lately dwelt.
On October 26, 1742, Josiah Wormall of Duxbury, laborer sold to Robert Standford two sixths of the land of his father Josiah Wormall of Duxbury, deceased.
The will of Josiah Wormall dated May 14, 1746, proved Janueary 25, 1748, names "cuzen" Azubah Wormall, daughter of brother Samuel Wormall, deceased; cuzen Patience Wormall, also daughter of Samuel; cuzen Ichabod Wormall, son of brother Ichabod Wormall, deceased; cuzen Desire Wormall, daughter of brother Ichabod; Mary Wormall, widow of brother Samuel.
The will of Desire (Doty) (Sherman) (Holmes) Standish dated July 30, 1723, proved May 17, 1732, mentions her granddaughter Desire Wormwall.
Mehetable and Ebenezer Wormall appear to have been too old to have been the children of Joshiah and Patience (Doty) Wormall, as they are sometimes listed; they are more probably the sister and brother of Josiah Wormall. Note that Mehetable and Ebenezer are not mentioned in Josiah's will.
