Ebenezer Sherman 
Ebenezer was born on April 21st, 1680 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 Ebenezer's father was William Sherman and his mother was Desire Doty. His paternal grandparents were William Sherman and Prudence Hill; his maternal grandparents were Edward Doty and Faith Clarke. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Patience, Experience, Elizabeth and Hannah. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Israel, Ichabod, Thomas and Desire. He died at the age of 78 on February 1st, 1759 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 General Notes

On September 28, 1701, Ebenezer Sherman and Margaret Decro "being guilty of sin... togethr made their peace with (the First Church in Marshfield).
On April 13, 1723, Ebenezer Sherman was appointed administrator of the estate of his son "Eleazer Sherman, late of Marshfield...Dyed intestate".
The will of Ebenezer Sherman of Marshfield, laborer, dated Jan 10, 1759, proved February 14, 1759, names eldest son William; second son Ebenezer; youngest son Elisha; son Robert and John; daughters Rachel Joyce, Elizbeth Witherel, Abigail Carver and Barshaba Walker; wife Barshaba. On May 26, 1760, William, Ebenezer, Robert, John, and Elisha Sherman divided the salt marsh.
