John Jackson Rountree 
John Jackson was born in 1815.1 John Jackson's father was Andrew Rountree and his mother was Mary Robertson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Rountree and Evy Sturgis. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, David, William, Joseph, Charles, Andrew Jones, Cicero, Andrew Marion, George Washington, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jane, Mary and Emily. He was the sixth youngest of the fifteen children.1 -
