Charles Rountree

Charles was born in 1811.¹ Charles' father was Andrew Rountree and his mother was Mary Robertson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Rountree and Evy Sturgis. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, David, William, Joseph, Andrew Jones, John Jackson, Cicero, Andrew Marion, George Washington, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jane, Mary and Emily. He was the eighth oldest of the fifteen children.¹
