Jane Rountree

Jane was born in 1808.¹ Jane's father was Andrew Rountree and her mother was Mary Robertson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Rountree and Evy Sturgis. She had ten brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, David, William, Joseph, Charles, Andrew Jones, John Jackson, Cicero, Andrew Marion, George Washington, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Emily. She was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children.¹
