Emily Rountree

Emily was born in 1821.¹ Emily's father was Andrew Rountree and her mother was Mary Robertson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Rountree and Evy Sturgis. She had ten brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, David, William, Joseph, Charles, Andrew Jones, John Jackson, Cicero, Andrew Marion, George Washington, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jane and Mary. She was the third youngest of the fifteen children.¹
