Elizabeth Rathbun

Elizabeth was born after 1670 in Block Island, Rhode Island.¹ Elizabeth's father was John Rathbone and her mother was Margaret Acres. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Rathbone and Alice Childwall; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Acres. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Joseph, Samuel, Sarah and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named William and Samuel.¹
