John Rathbone 
John was born in 1657 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.1 John's father was John Rathbone and his mother was Margaret Acres. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Rathbone and Alice Childwall; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Acres. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, Joseph, Samuel, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named William and Samuel. He died in Block Island, Rhode Island.2 -
