Joseph Rathbone 
Joseph was born in 1667 in Block Island, Rhode Island.1 Joseph's father was John Rathbone and his mother was Margaret Acres. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Rathbone and Alice Childwall; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Acres. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Samuel, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named William and Samuel. He died before August 8th, 1749 in Exeter, Rhode Island.1 -
