Jane A. Newton 
Jane A. was born on January 24th, 1849 in Screven Co., GA.1 Jane A.'s father was William Newton and her mother was Jemima Parker. Her maternal grandparents were James Parker and Elizabeth Sasser. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, James Madison, Augustus R., George M., Mary Elizabeth, Martha M. and Cynthia Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on December 6th, 1924.1 General Notes
