James Madison Newton 
James Madison was born in December 1846 in Screven Co., GA.1 James Madison's father was William Newton and his mother was Jemima Parker. His maternal grandparents were James Parker and Elizabeth Sasser. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Augustus R., George M., Mary Elizabeth, Jane A., Martha M. and Cynthia Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children.1 -
