Sebron Thomas was born on October 6th, 1835 in Screven Co., GA and his baptism took place in Methodist.1 Sebron Thomas' father was John Lanier Moore and his mother was Elender Barber. His paternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes; his maternal grandparents were William Barber and Mary A. Hendrix. He had five brothers and a sister, named William B., Augustus M., Thomas Street, Hardy Hunter, Virgil Powers and Jane E.. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William Marshall and Sarah E.. He died at the age of 79 on March 19th, 1915 in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA. He was buried on March 20th, 1915 in Laurel Grove Cem, Savannah, GA, Lot# 2805.1 1 General Notes
