Sarah E. was born on September 24th, 1852 in Emanuel Co., GA.1 Sarah E.'s father was John Lanier Moore and her mother was Sarah Jenkins. Her paternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. She had a brother named William Marshall. She was the older of the two children. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named William B., Augustus M., Sebron Thomas, Thomas Street, Hardy Hunter, Virgil Powers and Jane E.. She died at the age of 83 on August 6th, 1936.1 General Notes
