Nellie Kalkman 
Nellie was born on March 1st, 1904 in Holland, Michigan.1 Nellie's father was Cornelius "Casey" Kalkman and her mother was Elizabeth Roels. Her paternal grandparents were Kryn Kalkman and Maria Hoogendorp; her maternal grandparents were Pieter Roels and Adriana Brandt. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Kryn, Cornelius "Neil", Peter, Albert, Albert, John Gerald, John Gerald, Jennie Adriana and Marie. She died in Holland, Michigan.1 General Notes

Peternella "Nellie" Kalkman's birth and death dates may have been:
born November 29, 1903 and died March 31, 1905 in Holland, Michigan. She died of whooping cough. Her older sister, Jennie, took care of her and said that the parents would check to see if she was still alive by holding a mirror to her mouth to find out if she was still breathing. Little Nellie died at home. After her death, she was put into a coffin and taken to the cemetery in a buggy pulled by a horse. She is buried in Pilgrim Cemetery in Holland, Michigan
