Kryn Kalkman 
Kryn was born on March 13th, 1830 in Schiedam, Netherlands.1 Kryn's father was Krijn Kalkman and his mother was Aafje Van Der Vlies. His paternal grandparents were Arij Kalkman and Willempie Neef. He was an only child. He died due to Cancer of Liver at the age of 74 on March 23rd, 1904 in Holland, Michigan.1 General Notes

(Kryn Kalkman worked was a foreman of the ship loaders (longshoreman) in Schiedam, Netherlands. He also worked in a whiskey factory. Laborer.
Both Kryn and Maria (Hoogendorp) came to the U.S. in 1893 probably from Rotterdam. Their son Kryn came to America before they did - August 6, 1892.
They had 11 children born at Schiedam.
