Maria Hoogendorp 
Maria was born on July 3rd, 1834 in Zwartewaal, Netherlands.1 Maria's father was Cornelius Hoogendorp and her mother was Johanna Post. She was an only child. She died due to Stroke at the age of 75 on December 20th, 1909 in Holland, Michigan.1 General Notes

Maria was born in Zwartewaal, Netherlands. Zwartewaal is a small fishing village at the southern border of the New Rotterdam Waterway.
In the Netherlands before having organs in church, Kate Kalkman started the music in church as the "Voorzinger." She was considered the lead singer.
Children Catharina and Cornelis Kalkman were twins. Catharina "Kate" lived to be 86 years old. Cornelis died when he was 5 days old. He did not have a roof in his mouth.
Maria Hoogendorp died as the result of a stroke. 1905? 1909?
