Joshua Hobson 
Joshua was born in 1785 in Chatham, NC.1 Joshua's father was Charles Hobson and his mother was Sarah Beck. His paternal grandparents were George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison; his maternal grandparents were Jeffrey Beck and Lydia Unknown. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Isaac, Jesse, George, Charles, Hannah, Lydia, Susannah, Jane, Mary, Elizabeth, Phebe, Rebecca and Sarah.
