Jesse Hobson 
Jesse was born on December 7th, 1770 in Chatham, NC.1 Jesse's father was Charles Hobson and his mother was Sarah Beck. His paternal grandparents were George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison; his maternal grandparents were Jeffrey Beck and Lydia Unknown. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Isaac, George, Charles, Joshua, Hannah, Lydia, Susannah, Jane, Mary, Elizabeth, Phebe, Rebecca and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.1 General Notes
