Charles Hobson 
Charles was born on March 17th, 1781 in Chatham, NC.1 Charles' father was Charles Hobson and his mother was Sarah Beck. His paternal grandparents were George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison; his maternal grandparents were Jeffrey Beck and Lydia Unknown. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Isaac, Jesse, George, Joshua, Hannah, Lydia, Susannah, Jane, Mary, Elizabeth, Phebe, Rebecca and Sarah. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children.1 General Notes
