Phineas Griffin

Phineas was born on September 25th, 1762.¹ Phineas' father was Benoni Griffin and his mother was Mary DeLacy. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Griffin and Elizabeth Welton. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Benoni, Peter, Joab, Abner, Abraham, Levi, Hannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Ninian and Matilda. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He had a half-sister named Martha.¹
