Abraham Griffin

Abraham was born on February 2nd, 1765 in Simsbury, CT.¹ Abraham's father was Benoni Griffin and his mother was Mary DeLacy. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Griffin and Elizabeth Welton. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Benoni, Peter, Joab, Abner, Phineas, Levi, Hannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Ninian and Matilda. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. He had a half-sister named Martha.¹
