Mary Emeline Goar 
Mary Emeline was born in 1837 in Yalobusha, Mississippi.1 Mary Emeline's father was Solomon Goar and her mother was Susan Christian. Her maternal grandparents were James Christian and Elizabeth M. Unknown. She had six brothers and a sister, named Thomas A., James Christian, Richmond Bledso, George W., Francis Marion, Solomon P. and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named William Madison.1 -
