Francis Marion Goar 
Francis Marion was born in 1844 in Coffeeville, Yalobusha, MS.1 Francis Marion's father was Solomon Goar and his mother was Susan Christian. His maternal grandparents were James Christian and Elizabeth M. Unknown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas A., James Christian, Richmond Bledso, George W., Solomon P., Elizabeth and Mary Emeline. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named William Madison. He died at the age of 54 on April 19th, 1898 in Hindsville, Madison, Arkansas.1 -
