James Christian Goar 
James Christian was born on November 4th, 1838 in Yalobusha, Mississippi.1 James Christian's father was Solomon Goar and his mother was Susan Christian. His maternal grandparents were James Christian and Elizabeth M. Unknown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas A., Richmond Bledso, George W., Francis Marion, Solomon P., Elizabeth and Mary Emeline. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named William Madison. He died at the age of 52 on May 18th, 1891 in Hanford, Kings, California.1 -
